With the AI revolution well underway, change and disruption will only increase.
And yet, the classical music industry has not only failed to acknowledge how radical and disruptive a time we are living in, but is also systemically resistant to change. As a result, we often find ourselves far behind the rest of the world and the societies we live in.
We are now seeing greater challenges for the classical music industry worldwide. Changes in audience behaviour, reductions in all forms of funding, and the constant battle to stay connected and relevant to the world we live in. These are all existential threats to our existence. The choice we face is simple, adapt or die.
